 June is complete and tomorrow we begin the hot summer month of July here in the Midwest. I am feeling inspired and refocused after a beautiful Viben Fest weekend in my home with some old and new friends. Lots of juicy conversations, time inside while the rains poured down on Friday, and time outside, floating in the pool on Saturday. The beauty of community always fills me back up with its play and laughter. When we see ourselves reflected in those around us, we are given the opportunity to stretch past our own comfort zones and pre-existing limitations. Stretching - "Causing someone to make maximum use of their talents or abilities; adapting or extending the scope of something in a way that exceeds a reasonable or acceptable limit..." As we honor the astrological shift into Cancer (Latin for the crab who carries its own home on its back), the invitation for each of us is to continue stretching who we know ourselves to be. For some, that means setting new goals or beginning new projects. For others, that can be gently allowing in more Love, more conversations, more experiences of Life. I believe the reason we have human experiences and play on Earth is because we are continually expanding at a Soul level. Sometimes those stretches are easy and other times it feels like we are in the center of a tug-of-war and we're not sure which side is going to win! Wherever you find yourself, I trust it is already perfect. And so, I will simply share where I Am in this moment.  I carried the inspiration of the way I saw myself being reflected in the Viben Fest community into my meditation time on Monday and then played with creating a Vision Board for the rest of this summer. My intention is to share my book, One Day, with Oprah in a conversation under the Oaks at her home in California. Yes, this is a stretch from the "reality" of my life in this moment. And yet, I believe in the power of co-creation. I believe in setting "unreasonable expectations" and then aligning with the power of the Universe to have magic unfold! The joy is definitely in the journey, in the steps along the way to the final intention / destination. So I am delighting in the pieces that I am preparing in my work that will allow me to hold a bigger stage: welcoming new clients, making changes to my website and edits to my book, uploading the ebook, creating a new Instagram account for "One Day is Here," releasing old Soul Shine / Viben replays... many, many steps, all headed in the direction of more people becoming aware of this Infinite idea of Consciousness and Love. I am stretching. In SO many ways. As an Orion / Moon Soul Filter, I am often holding space for all of those around me and so it is a new and somewhat uncomfortable stretch for me to allow others to hold big space for ME! To receive in just as much as I give out. And also... it feels beautiful to receive such encouragement, love, and support for my vision... One Day, Oprah, it is going to be a pleasure to meet you in person.  For many of us, stretching is often directly connected to Abundance. When we hold ourselves small and tight, we limit the amount of joy, love, money, time, well-being, and experiences that are available to us here in this life. As we begin this new month of July, I am holding a theme of Abundance for the five Viben Now! meditation calls. We are exploring this idea by clearing blocks that are in the way of stretching our space and allowing ourselves to receive more from Life. When (because I am replacing the word "if" in my vocabulary!) this topic resonates with you, I invite you to join us for one guided meditation call ($11 exchange) or all five in July ($55 exchange). Doreen Virtue offers that 11 is the number associated with "keeping your thoughts positive because your thoughts are manifesting instantly into form," and 55 represents transformation, "a period of out with the old, in with the new, as we welcome the changes that bring new blessings." The way we do one thing is often the way we do all things, and so exploring this topic of Abundance in whatever area feels most relevant to you then ripples awareness out into other areas of your life. For those whose Sunday mornings are already booked, the vibration of the meditation and the space that I hold is directly attached to the call, which makes the replay a powerful space to step into at any time. And the visualization process we follow can be applied easily into your own meditation time during the week. We are going to have some fun with this topic because I trust in the Abundance of Joy and I am holding that as my foundation for the month of July! Last week we also gathered for the Viben Circle and set intentions for this New Moon of Cancer. It is a busy month ahead and so I invite you to mark your calendars now for Sunday, July 23rd at 6pm for our next Viben Circle here in my home. The community is gathering again! I trust you are well and enjoying a beautiful weekend! I am writing to you on another beautiful summer morning, looking out my window at tall green trees, bright and beautiful blue sky, and sunshine pouring into our Earth. Our puppy, Star, has been running from window to window all morning, loving the activity of the birds flying around just out of his reach. His ability to delight in each moment is amazing to witness! This past week has been interesting in the contrasts it has presented in my life and the lives of those around me. There is a pattern I am seeing of being in "the space in between." Supporting Soul-humans who are at a time of transition, feeling the seasons switching as we approach the Summer Solstice (the longest day of daylight in the Northern Hemisphere), watching my children prepare to leave for a two week vacation with their Dad, organizing for an event I'm hosting in my home next week... this pause in between one threshold and another, one activity and another, one moment and another. When we sit in "the space in between," it can sometimes feel disorienting or confusing because we aren't sure if we should be holding onto what was or releasing into what is coming next. It's a bit like jumping off a cliff at times and not knowing if you're going to reach the cliff across from you or fall down into the void in between. And being present in what IS now can be really uncomfortable! The word that has shown up for me over and over all week in song lyrics, emails, articles, and Facebook posts has been Trust. Trust - ""Firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something..." It is in "the space in between" that we have the opportunity to deepen our Trust in life, in love, in humanity, in the infinite existence of a Soul. Nobody can GIVE you trust. You develop it within yourself. It evolves and strengthens within each one of us as life brings us new situations, new relationships, new opportunities, new disappointments. We strengthen our trust. We discover our trust... and in that journey, we become more than we were before.  Often when we are stretching ourselves in these ways, we go through the contrast of feeling something we do not want in order to find what it is we actually want. So, for example, we discover the things we do NOT trust and in that elimination, we identify what we DO trust. Sometimes this happens through the body when the body has dis-ease, places where it is out of alignment. In the identifying of all of those places and the clearing of that stuck energy, we discover our trust in our body. We find our trust in the beautiful new merging of the body with Spirit. We then find our deeper trust in Spirit. In Life. In Love. And so this tiny word "trust" can summarize an entire lifetime of stories and patterns and beliefs that are constantly being rewired and fine-tuned through all of these contrasting experiences. Identifying a "firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something" is an individual process. Once clarified piece by piece, it is empowering to then share that deeper knowledge with those around us who can witness and reflect our expansion. I spent this past Thursday with a beautiful friend, just chatting and sharing my stories, deepening my trust in the work that I am here to do through her validations and reflections back to me. What a gift! This is one of the pulls that I have been feeling in my work - to create safe, loving containers where we can witness and celebrate the journeys we are all taking in this lifetime. So.... We are gathering on Sunday for the Viben Now! meditation call, which is pure magic... playtime with Source energy guiding us. We are gathering in person on Thursday for the monthly New Moon Viben Circle intention-setting space over dinner. And we are gathering at my home on Friday for a weekend of play at Viben Fest '17! All of this play is also shared in the virtual Facebook Soul Shine Tribe, if you are still testing the waters of this "trust" thing! I hope you are well and feeling the delight of seasons shifting as we welcome the longer days of summer - my favorite time of year! I took a break to sit outside by the pool and think about what I wanted to share today and the word that popped up immediately was Timeless. Timeless - "Without beginning or end, eternal, everlasting; classic; independent of time; not affected by the passage of time..." Time has been an interesting experience for me over the past week. As I mentioned before, my daughter graduated from high school and so last weekend was a series of stops and starts, and past-present-future all merging together in this beautiful way. Staying present allowed me to feel all of the emotions as the came up and to delight in the ceremonial marking of time, change, transitions. School has officially wrapped up for everyone in my family and my husband and children are starting their summer schedule. In past summers, my balance with time has felt rushed because there's so much more activity in the house and I work from home. This year, I can feel how centered and clear I am on the experiences that I am co-creating with my family, friends, and clients. So the summer stretches out in front of me with this feeling of "no beginning or end." Markers along the way, yet it feels so spacious. As I have been envisioning the experiences I want to create, I have felt the magnetic pull of gathering our Tribe together in the physical form, hosting an event at my home where I can see, touch, and feel the physical reality of all of you, my friends. I am excited to share with you my first annual Viben Fest '17! The word Viben means "to chill or hang out," and Fest is "a ceremonial celebration of some specific focus." And so my focus for Viben Fest '17 is to celebrate Life, Love, and Ever-expanding Consciousness from June 23-25! You can learn more about it here and see if it resonates with you. It is a weekend of pleasure and connection, a deeper building of community... I cannot wait to be here with many of you!  The other reason that the word "timeless" felt so appropriate for this week's news is its reflection of the gifts and beautiful art of my friend, Gary Spinosa. Gary is an artist, sculptor, creator, and healer who has been sharing his magic with the world throughout a 50-year career. In April, the Canton Museum of Art opened an exhibit that runs through July, titled "AVATARS: Relics from the Future," featuring all mediums of Gary's work. As part of his Tribe, we were right by his side for the opening weekend. I share our journey with Gary and his gentle wisdom in this week's Healing Our Souls video. As we begin the summer months, I am going to be opening up the Viben Vault of past Soul Shine / Viben meditation calls from 2016! I feel excited to be sharing these beautiful meditative podcasts with you through YouTube and SoundCloud - stay tuned! To honor the depth and presence of the weekly meditation space, I am changing the Sunday call name to Viben Now! My delight in life dances through every one of these hours - it is with such joy that I show up every Sunday morning to hold the space and share whatever is present in that moment.
