Welcome, Festival Family!
THANK YOU for saying YES to this beautiful Soul Family Reunion on Earth... starting in my hometown of Cincinnati! I am beyond excited about what is already being co-created and know that it's only getting better!
You have found your way here... to this moment... in this body... reading these words... and knowing that you are exactly where you intended to be when you were a Soul gazing down at this beautiful blue planet a lifetime ago.
It is my greatest joy to be welcoming you HOME to the Reunion that is happening for all of us on August 3rd!

Energetically...
When we know that there is a shift or an expansion arriving in our lives energetically, it's helpful to feel prepared for that event!
How do we prepare for the Unknown, for the ways that Love is going to open our hearts and help activate a greater flow of Energy within us? Here are a few suggestions!
How do we prepare for the Unknown, for the ways that Love is going to open our hearts and help activate a greater flow of Energy within us? Here are a few suggestions!
- Learn more about the Gaia's Love Festivals here. If you're not yet familiar with the intention or purpose for these 14 Festivals, it will feel good to already be in on the conversation when you arrive at our Field. Take a few minutes and read through what I share about the way that these Festivals have come into being and the space I am holding for all of us for this first one!
- If you want a deeper dive, read the book that started it all, One Day: Gaia's Gifts. These 14 Festivals are directly connected to the 14 Stories shared in the book I scribed for my Soul Tribe last year. We are beginning with the last chapter, my Story about being Here Now on Earth. Where do we go from here? To one of the other 13 chapters... let's see where we are guided next!
- To tune into the vibration I'm holding for this adventure, start listening to the Gaia's Love Podcast. This daily podcast of brief messages offers stories and reflections from my everyday activities in life as a bridge to living this idea of the "New Earth" - a world that is based on Love not fear.
All of these Resources help introduce this idea of Energy shifting and expanding. We are reuniting with ourselves in the human Body... reconnecting with Earth, our planet, Gaia... and finding that Love for Source / God / Creator / One within each of us.
Finding the ways that Source and Earth and humans can play together in a more harmonious and expansive way. The momentum of this intention will carry you right into your Arrival to the Festival! |
Physically...
As we live on a physical planet, there are some physical logistics to help us flow all of this expanding Energy! These suggestions will help you arrive at the Festival with all of the elements necessary to be comfortable for the evening:
- Pack a picnic dinner. Use a small cooler that you can easily carry or that has wheels so that you can manage moving from your car to the shuttle bus and out to the field. Pack food that is nourishing to your body and will fill you up for the evening. (There will not be any food for sale at the Festival.) Whatever you bring to the Field leaves with you, so be conscious of any waste you may create as you're packing your meal.
- Bring a full recyclable water bottle. And perhaps pack an extra one if you have space. It might be a little warm and you'll be moving Energy which always requires extra water! (No plastic water bottles, please... let's love our Earth!) We will have water stations for you to refill your bottles throughout the night. No alcohol allowed.
- Include an extra dish to share! Not required, but suggested. Let's have some fun with our community meal and remember those days of trading treats at the lunch table when we were children! Those with allergies or sensitivities, please communicate clearly with those around you to keep us all healthy and comfortable during our meal.
- Bring a blanket to sit on. We will be moving Energy and that can make us tired in moments, so you will want to be able to comfortably sit on the ground. Folding chairs are also great, as long as you can easily carry them.
- Consider protection. Organic bug spray is being provided by Earthganics, and Erin will be greeting you at the shuttle bus if you'd like to be protected! We will still be in the sunshine for our time together, so put on sunscreen or bring it with you. And a hat and/or sunglasses may feel good if the Light is bright. If it looks like it might rain, bring an umbrella! And a change of clothes might be helpful to have with you in case we get wet.
- Bring your journal. If you'd like to capture a few of the moments as they're happening, have your journal and a pen in your bag. And if you're like me and your phone is often giving you the Storage Full message, clear out some room to take photos for the night!
- Confirm your child(ren)'s info. If your children (ages 14 and under) are attending the Festival with you and you have not yet sent us their Name and Age, please email [email protected] as soon as possible to help us plan appropriately for volunteer support for the children's activities.

- Parking Pass printed. The parking information is below - please print out a copy of the pass to put on your car's dashboard.
Okay... now you are packed and ready to leave... Let's Go!
Parking...
Our Field is on a private lane with very limited parking space so everyone is parking their cars a few minutes away and taking a shuttle to the Field. The address for parking is 3950 Nine Mile (Tobasco) Road, Cincinnati, OH 45255.
The EZ Rent-All facility have offered their space, and asked that we place the event Parking Pass on the car dashboards. The parking pass was emailed with your order confirmation and is also attached here for quick reference. Please print it out and put the copy on your dash. The shuttle driver will have a few extra copies in case you forget, but it will move much faster if you don't have to run back to your car while he waits. Thank you!
|
|
Our Shuttle Van driver is Weston (Wes) and you can text him at 513.833.7275 if he's not there when you arrive. Let him know how many people are waiting with you and he's be right up to get you! The Field is less than a mile away, so he will be back and forth all day.
Your Arrival...
Our Festival will either be held on my front lawn (if less than 100 guests) or at a Field right down the Lane (if over 100 guests).
When you arrive at our private Lane, you are entering this Energy Vortex that I hold sacred, for myself and for the work that I do. This Field of Energy is protected by The Grandmothers / The Ancient Ones who are holding space for the continued evolution of humans here on this planet. You'll be in this cocoon of Love and Energy moving in the most beautiful ways!
We welcome you and check you in for the Festival once you are off the shuttle bus, making sure we have each person accounted for in our Soul Family!
As you arrive, you will be greeted by Erin (founder of Earthganics), who will have her Organic bug spray offered for an initial application. If you enjoy it and would like your very own for later in the night or to have for your future adventures, she will have a tent set up with a few items to purchase.
And then you can put your stuff down, get settled, and say hello to some new and old friends!
If you're interested in sharing any reflections about what magnetized you towards this Festival, Amanda is moving around chatting with people on camera as she gathers video footage for the evening... share your thoughts!

The Festival!
We begin at 4:44 pm!! The Asatoma Prayer / Chant guides us into our Circle, led by Viv and Alicia. Join in if you know the words or just absorb the powerful vibration as we begin.
The Festival is yours to experience as you choose, so flow as feels good to you. There are scheduled activities that begin and flow one into the next, however, you choose what to participate in. You can do all of it or you can sit on your blanket and be more of an observer if that's more comfortable. It's all totally okay! You'll have your own experience simply by being in this Field of Energy for the evening. The invitation, though, is always to try something new... just try it!

Your Departure...
And we wrap up at 9 pm... making our way back to the shuttle to say goodbye to Wes and all of our other new friends!!
"I didn't know it could be this good! That it could be this much fun... with strangers!" is what I expect many (or all!) of us will be saying as we leave the Field. What an incredible evening!!
So... how do we carry this expansive Energy and Love forward in our lives?

Easy Integration...
When our Heart and Throat Chakras expand (or any chakra!), our Awareness that we are expanding is the key to the process being easy and graceful.
So, expect that you will be expanding when we are all together, co-creating a new way of being in community!
And then your awareness of the shift will allow it feel gentler, easier to integrate.
My suggestion is to gift yourself with the time and space to come back into the community space established at the Festival... on Sunday morning via phone. My voice will carry the vibration of the Joy and Love from the Festival right into our meditation time together.

Sunday Meditation...
Included in your exchange for the evening is a link to the Sunday August 4th meditation / energy healing call (Gaia's Love Here Now call that I host each week). You can call in live or listen to the recording later.
This hour on Sunday morning, right after our evening of celebration together, provides a "landing" of all that you experienced energetically at the Festival. I guide the group through a meditation / visualization process that allows your Mind / Body / Spirit to integrate the Energy Flow and settle any bumpy places that might have come with a contraction after a beautiful evening of Joy!
Ease and grace, my friends!

And then what's next?
You'll know how to trust yourself and which way you're guided, so carry the momentum of this Love expanding in whatever ways feel in alignment to you.
- Join the Soul Shine Tribe on Facebook to stay in touch with your new friends!
- Tune into the Gaia's Love podcast to keep your vibration high.
- Come to a New Moon Circle at the end of August.
- Or maybe YOU host an event and we come to your gathering!!
This Energy stuff is REAL!
It's so real.
And what is happening on our planet is beautiful. If we tune into that and we focus on that and we expand that, it becomes bigger and more powerful.
Love in its purity creates more Love and it expands. And it becomes SO BIG!
That's what we are moving towards. That's what this first Gaia's Love Festival is anchoring in.
So Thank You for saying YES to being a part of it!

Out-of-Town Family...
Welcome to Cincinnati!
Whether this is your first time visiting my hometown city or you've been here many times, I welcome you with wide open arms to a place I deeply love!
Our town is built on the Ohio River and you will find that our roads and bridges wind us between Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana in the most interesting ways. Downtown Cincinnati has an Ohio side and a Kentucky side and the views and options for fun on either side are great! We have a beautiful zoo, an aquarium, many museums and art / music / theatre venues, a fun amusement park north of the city, the Cincinnati Reds baseball and the Bengals football, .... on and on! You can find all things Cincinnati here with events and activities listed.

Directions...
For easy travel here:
- Our airport is CVG (Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky airport) and it's about 30 minutes from the airport to my neighborhood on the East side.
- For driving, the main loop around the Greater Cincinnati area is I-275 and it winds through all three states. The general area I live in is in Ohio, right off an exit of I-275 on the East side of Cincinnati, about 10 minutes from the Ohio River. My neighborhood is between Anderson and Amelia on a main road called Beechmont Avenue / Rt. 125.
- When you are googling directions, use the Festival Parking address (at the top of the page) and you'll be right where you need to be!
Accommodations...
There are so many places to stay in the Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area! If you are interested in being near downtown to be able to enjoy some of our local activities, I encourage you to check options on both sides of the Ohio River. The downtown Cincinnati hotels tend to be more expensive, for example, than the ones in Newport or Kentucky, and both sides are easy to navigate with the bridges. Downtown is about 20-25 minutes away from the Festival Field, for your planning purposes for Saturday.
If you'd prefer to stay close to the Festival area, there are two hotels one exit away in an area called Eastgate: The Holiday Inn and the Hampton Inn. Both are close to restaurants, gas, a few parks and walking trails and are easy on/off the highway.
For airbnb's, a few local neighborhoods close to the Festival are Amelia, Anderson, Eastgate, Batavia, Milford, Newtown, Mt. Washington. If you use the Festival Parking address, it should give you lots of options for places to stay!

A Few of My Favorite Things...
Oh there are SO many of them!! Narrowing down any kind of a list is always challenging for me, and yet, I will attempt to do our city justice in this short list...
Are there favorites NOT connected to food?! Of course...
I might add more as I think of them, but these are just a few of the BEST parts of our city! Thank you for coming to spend time here and I hope Cincinnati exceeds your expectations!
xoxoxo, Viv
- The top most favorite is Graeter's Ice-cream!! I shared my love for this nationally famous homemade brand of DELUXE ice-cream in a recent Gaia's Love podcast here. My favorite flavor? Depending on the day, double chocolate chip, raspberry chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, or a sundae with vanilla ice-cream and raspberry and hot fudge toppings. YUM!!
- For a late at night meal, Skyline Chili is a must! It's another Cincinnati local tradition, chili that is a little on the sloppy wet side, with their crackers in a bowl while you're waiting for your coney (or chili cheese sandwich, I skip the hot dog part!), loaded with cheese. You might get heartburn later, but it's part of the fun, to complain about eating chili so late at night!
- Dewey's or LaRosa's pizza? For me, it's an easy choice - Deweys! Fancy ingredients, an amazing crust, and it never disappoints. For lots of Cincinnati people, they would say it's LaRosa's, a homemade family-owned and franchised business that has supported many of my family and friends in making money working for them over the years.
Are there favorites NOT connected to food?! Of course...
- I love driving across the yellow "Big Mac" bridge and seeing the skyline of our city on the left as you cross the Ohio River. Always one of my favorite views of Cincinnati, with the water, buildings, hills, and blue sky above.
- Devout Park offers a peaceful rest above the city. You wind up through the hills of Covington and arrive at this peaceful spot where kids go to take their Prom photos and couples go for wedding photos, and the whole panorama of our city is spread out in front of you. Take a blanket and some music and lie under the stars as the sun goes down... magical!
- Serpentine Wall and Yeatman's Cove are beautiful, right on the Ohio River. There are places to sit and watch the boats on the river, parks to walk through, play areas for children... lots of options. And just a little further down the way are a bunch of restaurants and bars for when you get hungry. Growing up, this was one of my favorite places to come hang out in the sun with my friends and feel like we were so grown up in the City!
- Over-the-Rhine (OTR) is a renovated area of downtown that kept many of the historic buildings while adding in restaurants and shops and a fun makeover of Washington Park with a big Oval Green and play area for children. Findlay Market is a local farmer's market in the area that has some great restaurants and supports many of our local small businesses, including Earthganics (providing the organic bug spray for the Festival!). My husband spends a lot of time in this area as his school, SCPA (School for Creative and Performing Arts) is right in the OTR neighborhood. Send the school and their talented students some love as you drive or walk by!
I might add more as I think of them, but these are just a few of the BEST parts of our city! Thank you for coming to spend time here and I hope Cincinnati exceeds your expectations!
