Thank you!!
You said YES to a dream that might sound crazy to some... and yet is so magical to me!
Thank you for the trust and faith that has you walking this path into the Unknown with me. This first Gaia's Love Festival is a bit like putting my Dream out into the wind and wondering which way the wind is going to take it next - exciting, thrilling, a little intense, and by far the BEST next step in My Soul's Journey!
So thank you for being by my side. I am so grateful for each one of you!
As we focus on guiding those who attend in reconnecting with their own Energy... with the Energy of our planet, Gaia... and with the Energy of Source, my intention is that we also naturally begin building new connections with each other here locally and eventually around the globe.
We begin at home, in this amazing vortex known as Cincinnati!
I am including a brief introduction of the Festival Team below with more detail than was on the event's public web page.
(I am still gathering updated photos and bios from team members, so check back in a few days if it's not complete yet!)
When you have a moment, please look through the bios of the people who are co-creating with us on August 3rd and see where you might have some matches for future co-creations. If you have time at the Festival, seek them out and say a quick hello! If not, perhaps consider reaching out to them after the Festival and building new partnerships.
Let's expand the grid, the blueprint for Energy and Love radiating out from this event!

Sharing The Festival!
I am also including copies of your individual event flyers here for easy promotion of the Festival with your own communities. (Your flyer has a line highlighting the time of your session or specfic type of support you're providing.)
You can download the file to your computer and print out as many as you need handy or use the jpg image to email it out or add to your own website event list.
Thank you for helping to spread the word of the Gaia's Love Festival!
The most powerful invitation to any event is always through a direct invitation from one heart to another... from one Soul to another. If you're investing your time and love on a summer Saturday to play in this way, ask those you love to come play with us, too!

A Few Logistics...
First just a few details to confirm that are different from the logistics for the attendees to the Festival.
- Our Address is 641 Springs Lane, Cinti, 45255. I am not sharing that address publicly because we don't want to have lots of cars coming and going up this one lane private road creating traffic jams. The fewer cars on that road, the faster we can get the shuttle van in and out. If you need to unload equipment, though, you may need this address to come directly here. Please follow the guidance for our neighborhood - the car at the top of the hill has the right of way, so simply pull to the side at the bottom of the road and wait for them to come down the hill. GO SLOW and watch for cars coming around the bends and up the hills!
- Setting up a tent or table - If you have a space to set up that requires some time or support, let's coordinate getting you here in the morning to set up what you need with plenty of time for any adjustments. Email or call me and we can make a plan!
- Arrive early - if you prefer to arrive around 3 / 3:30 pm and get yourself set up for the Festival, please let me know and we'll have a car that can come meet you at the parking spot before the shuttle starts at 3:30 or Wes will be starting his first run at 3:30 for any Guides who want to beat the 4pm crowd!
- Pack a dinner - I will have a few snacks available at the house before and after the Festival, but am asking everyone to take care of their own picnic meals for the event.
- Take photos and videos - the more footage we have of our Festival, the better the documentary we can create to generate funding for the next 13 Festivals! So please take lots of photos and as much video as you can remember to take... while still enjoying yourself and being present for the magic! I have set up a
Dropbox folder here that can be used to share the files and images you create. (You might get a message to request to join - say yes and I will add your email address to the folder!)
I think that covers it! If you have a question, please email or call (513.646.9124) me to let me know and I can add that item to this space for everyone else to get the answers too. Thank you!
See you so soon!!! xoxoxo

April Combs Mann |
Singer, Story-teller, Teacher, Guide for Children's Stories at Festival
April Eight Songs & Stories April Eight Songs & Stories Podcast is a creative outpouring of original fairytale stories and songs for children from musician, writer, and educator April Combs Mann. April also shares her Stories Full of Songs nationally at festivals and events and leads storytelling and songwriting workshops for kids.
In days gone by... Our friend April fronted a raucous alt-rock band named Arson Garden. She jumped around on stages and sang her heart out on tours across the US and Europe, recorded in fancy studios like Prince’s Paisley Park, and did other prestigious stuff like recording a Peel Session at BBC Radio One in London and playing Lollapalooza. It was super fun! So how exactly did alt-rock April become April Eight? Well… One night, not so very long ago, I was reading a book to my dear young daughter. Suddenly, a band of Pixies wandered right across our page. I wondered what they might sound like and then, just like that, I knew. I could hear them perfectly. And that is when it all happened – in that moment I could hear the songs and see a whole new world of joyful, delightful ideas to sing and write about – and that’s how I became April Eight. April lives near the river in Cincinnati, Ohio with her two daughters and her dear husband. When April is not podcasting, writing stories and songs or making videos, leading workshops or performing, she works on her novel for middle school kids and teaches Extra Lesson at the Cincinnati Waldorf School with a certification from the Association for a Healing Education. And of course, she also walks her bossy little dog, Roxie.
