Summer has arrived here in the Midwest and I am ready to play outside in the sunshine and water! This is my favorite time of year at our home, when the garden is blooming, the pool is open, and friends are over late into the evening, chatting and sharing wisdom.
And so... we are Gathering.
Building Community.
Healing Our Souls.

A Festival...
Words have power and so I choose them carefully. Here is the vibration being held in the name I have given our weekend retreat:
Viben - "vibration of energy," "viben is like you're just chillen' and hanging out." (Urban Dictionary!)
Fest - "a day or period of celebration marked by special observances, a program of events or entertainment having a specified focus."
What is the "specified focus" for this festival?
I have a few, which I share as a foundation for whatever is then co-created by all who gather here:
Building Community
I believe in the power of multiple people harnessing their attention at the same time and opening up portals that did not exist before that moment. Being together in person adds a depth to the levels of communication and sharing, which is why this is a live event. AND I also know the beauty and gifts of the amazing Souls in my life... I want you to meet and form new friendships with each other!
Expanding Soul Gifts
We learn best by practicing and applying our skills and gifts. This weekend is a cocoon for you to safely explore your ideas about what you are bringing to this world, this "New Earth." Do you have an idea for a new program, a new book, a style of coaching or healing that you'd love to discuss with other wise men and women? Do you have a way of seeing energy that you've been hesitant to open up? Do you just want to be around a group of open-hearted people and feel your heart open a bit wider? It's all possible here because I am holding a space for co-creation. Each one of us bringing our love and gifts into the community and then letting the magic happen!
Setting Intentions
Just like with the Viben Circles, we are gathering on the weekend of a New Moon. (In fact, if you're in town, the Viben Circle for June is on the Thursday before this retreat, so you can really power up your weekend!) The New Moon for June is in Cancer, which rules emotions and has the energy of water. What are you ready to let go of as you step into the next six months of 2017? How can you tap into the power of your emotions and align with the highest potential for your next steps? Are you willing to claim an intention out loud with others and let it land more solidly in your reality? Often, conversations with those we trust around us can act as reflections in the water, allowing us to see possibilities that might not have been clear before. You don't have to engage in lots of conversations, but as much as you are willing to give of your time and love... so can you receive in equal and abundant measure over the weekend.
Expanding Consciousness
Ahhh... what gathering could happen in my home without me discussing and holding space for consciousness (Love) to expand?! Yes. Absolutely!
So we begin here.

Logistics...
Yes, this is a Festival being held at my home, so it's going to be communal living! We are "letting go" of some of our familiar routines and comforts and opening up to new adventures. :)
Living Space:
Our home is perfect for hosting big events - my husband and I were married in the front yard with 100 guests, so there is plenty of room for a group of 20-40 to gather. The living room, dining room, and kitchen will be open for everyone to use as they need to throughout the weekend and we have a beautiful back yard with pool where we can relax in the water and play!
Sleeping Space:
We have three levels in our home with beds, air mattresses, comfy couches, floor space for sleeping bags, and green grass for a few tents to be pitched outside if you'd like to bring one. You will need to bring your own pillow, blanket, and a towel for showers. I can't guarantee hot water for every shower if they're all in the morning, so be open to coordinating as needed!
Food / Drinks:
Three yummy meals per day will be included. For this weekend, it is a self-serve kitchen, though - eat when you are hungry or when others want to make and eat the meal with you! I will provide the menu in advance, with veggie options, so that you can bring alternatives with you if needed. Water, tea, and coffee are provided. Please bring your own recyclable water bottle, any alcohol you would like for the weekend, and whatever snacks you want to have on hand or contribute to the community.
Agenda:
This weekend is about play and connection, so the agenda is staying easy and open! I will lead a group meditation each morning (Viben Now! meditation call is on Sunday morning, as usual - but this time, you'll be sitting with me!), if you'd like to start your day with me. I am open to any suggestions for mini-workshops, small discussion groups, healing sessions - exchanges, yoga sessions... We can set a few up in advance or leave it open to unfold organically throughout our time together. In the evenings, we will gather as a group and celebrate - eat, sing, dance, enjoy music - live or recorded!
Our Exchange:
This Festival feels easy and fun to me and so it's important to have it feel the same to many of the Souls in our Soul Shine Tribe. The exchange is $222 per person for the weekend, including meals. For those who are local, there is also a Day Pass option for Saturday only for $111 per person.
