Let me share a story about the beautiful ways that our Souls find each other in this interesting journey of life...
Two years ago, I met an amazing sound healer named Rafael Bejarano, who (in one three-hour group session) guided me through an energetic review of my own Soul's journey. Listening to him playing music while facilitating the group, I unraveled the stories that had locked me into my repetitive patterns for much of my life.
Was my Soul awakened and left profoundly transformed? ...Yes.
Was this an activation agreed upon by both of us as Souls before we came into this human life? ...Definitely.
One month later, Rafael died very suddenly. All of those who loved him grieved, in deep shock. And our friend who brought the original group together gathered us yet again, this time to honor Rafael's life and gifts that he shared so generously with everyone he met. In our closing circle, she played music from an album that he gave her.
It was Alicia Mathewson's Isn't It Amazing album from 2012. The songs were so beautiful and healing... and Alicia's voice touched my heart immediately. As we were driving home, I bought the album.
For the next year, Alicia's voice sang to me often from my iphone shuffle as I ran each morning. Pretty soon, I had the album memorized!
Was my Soul awakened and left profoundly transformed? ...Yes.

At the beginning of this year, when I started writing my book, her songs guided and calmed me through the complex design and editing phases. When I realized that music was going to be an integral part of One Day, I trusted the music as it showed up in my editing... always in perfect timing and alignment. And so two of Alicia's songs were included in my book, Breathe In Breathe Out and Sweet September.
Once the book was published, I sent a copy of it to each of the authors and artists I had included for the ways they have inspired me in My Soul Journey In The Gaia Tribe. Each book was personally signed, wrapped, and mailed by me to the addresses I found for the individual online. And then I released the book energetically once it was sent, trusting in the perfection of a delivery plan grander than I could imagine! Alicia received her copy the day after she returned from travelling internationally this summer and sent me a beautiful email saying thank you. Much to my delight, she followed that one up with another email after she completed reading One Day, describing the ways the book resonated with her!! |

And so began an email conversation...

So why 11-11?
Alicia and I each have had significant moments connected to 11-11, and understand the power and impact of aligning with numbers energetically. This wisdom from Simone Matthews of Universal Life Tools offers a beautiful perspective:
"In numerology the number 11 is a master number. It is the most intuitive number and is a clear channel to the subconscious. It is the number of leadership, personal power and spiritual truths. ‘Jesus’ in numerology breaks down to the number 11, and ‘Angels’ (plural) is the number 22 (11 + 11).
So why are we all being awakened with 11:11?
This number is a genetic code implanted in our Crystalline Matrix (energetic bodies) prior to our descent to Earth. When we came to Earth, our memories were erased in order for our Souls to experience separation in the Grand Cycle, and then through free will we are given the opportunity for growth and ascension. We did however ensure we planted some sign posts along the way to help us to wake up and 11:11 is one of them.
The 11:11 is the symbol reminding us of the illusion we live in. It is the memory code implanted in us to help us to wake up, release our fears and bring humanity together as one again. It is the symbol waking up Lightworkers all over the world, no matter what religion, race or colour as we are all one. It is the doorway through which we ascend, as we vibrate at multi-dimensional frequencies."

First, A Concert...
Sound is what brought us together and so we begin with Sound. Alicia is performing an intimate concert of songs and stories in her powerful and gentle way, here in my home in Cincinnati. If you haven't heard her music before, her bio below might intrigue you:

The concert is informal, intimate, and family-friendly (yes, children are welcome to come to the party!). We will be cozy in my living room, with room to dance in the hallways and on the stairs if you want to move around!
Time: 3-5pm
Exchange: $33/per adult (children free)
** You can attend one or both of the events on 11-11. Once the concert is over, concert guests will have some meet and greet time with Alicia until 6pm. Then those activation guests who are staying or just arriving for the next phase of the evening will re-group in the dining room for a light dinner. **

When two music-loving-healers get together with the intention of co-creating a transformative experience for those they love... magic is sure to happen! What it looks like exactly in the physical form is still unfolding.
We are playing with how to bring our gifts and healing modalities together in a new way, combining music, meditation, light-healing, crystals, toning and chanting. Each time we talk about our ideas for this gathering, we find that what we have been exploring separately is the same process the other one has been sitting with, too! Our alignment and expanding joy in collaborating together is continuously surprising and delighting both of us!
So this event might feel like a leap of faith for you. Stepping into the Unknown... or across a New Threshold...
And perhaps all you need to know in this moment is that we are already holding the space for this individual and collective Activation in our hearts and our Souls. We trust the Divine Timing and orchestration bringing the perfect 22 people together for this evening of healing at the Crystal Core - of Gaia and of each of us.

A Few Logistics...
We are getting cozy, letting go of some of our familiar routines, and opening up to new adventures. :)
Living Space:
Our home is perfect for hosting big events - my husband and I were married in the front yard with 100 guests, so there is plenty of room for a group of 20-40 to gather. The living room, dining room, and kitchen will be open for everyone to use as they need to throughout the weekend and we have a beautiful outdoor area for any integration with nature.
Sleeping Space (for overnight guests):
We have three levels in our home with beds, air mattresses, comfy couches, and floor space for sleeping bags. Please bring your own pillow and blanket.
Food / Drinks:
We will have water, tea infusions, and light snacks available for guests attending the concert. For those who stay or arrive later for the Crystal Core Activation, we are providing a light dinner of soups, salads, and breads (veggie and gluten-free options available). And Sunday brunch is a community meal that we are preparing and eating together (eggs, pancakes, fruits...). As always in my home, there will be plenty to eat!
Please bring your own recyclable water bottle, any alcohol you would like for the evening, and whatever snacks you want to have on hand or contribute to the community.
